We would like to welcome participating retail merchants to their place at The Plants Exchange. These retailers have decided to generously donate their plant material to the cause that fuels this website, namely contributing to the gardening community with an eye toward compassion and appreciation. They understand that reaching out to gardeners through donation demonstrates goodwill, and its good for business!

First, this page is reserved for participating retailers only, so if you’re a regular member, you need to skedaddle over to our other pages if you want to post an ad. Members are only entitled to the donated items listed on this page. Please do not ask our dealer donors for free plants from their web catalogs – just the items that are listed here. We do encourage our members to visit these retailers and peruse their catalogs. These dealers are supporting our cause, so we need to support their businesses too! 
The process is simple. Copy and paste the information between the dotted lines, fill in the information, then hit the button! If you’re donating 5 of the same item, make up five ads for the item. If you’re donating 5 separate items, make up five ads. When your donated items have been shipped, let us know, and we’ll remove your ad. No point in getting 100 letters asking for something you no longer have for donation. That’s it!
Once you’ve made a deal with the member, make clear to them what the shipping charge will be. Ask for payment of that charge up front. DO NOT SEND PLANTS WITHOUT OBTAINING PAYMENT FOR SHIPPING! After you receive payment, ship your donated plant out ASAP! Following the guidelines makes for new and better customer – dealer relations!
Remember, deals are made between retailers and members. Administrators will not mediate between parties. Work out any and all arrangements or problems via personal email. Be polite, friendly and helpful.
